About

You wake aboard Aster, a small orbital seed station carrying a garden to a new colony, and the lights are out. As its last engineer, with PIP the station intelligence beside you, you start at the power relay: turn the connector tiles until an unbroken circuit reaches the cabin lights. Each restored system opens the next repair: programming a rover to water the seedlings, tuning gears and coolant flow, sharing twelve energy cells, reconciling airlock interlocks, lighting a coupled solar array, scheduling the launch and plotting a safe route home. Every repair is a hands-on puzzle with feedback and hints.

Learning outcomes

Players learn to trace a circuit and find the first break, write and debug a sequence of instructions, predict how gear ratios change speed, solve linked equations under a fixed budget, evaluate Boolean conditions with AND, OR, XOR and NOT, reason about toggles whose effects overlap, schedule dependent jobs within a shared capacity, and choose a route that satisfies several constraints at once. Across all eight repairs they practise troubleshooting: predict, test, read the feedback, change one thing and test again. It suits upper primary and lower secondary learners, covering computational thinking, foundational physical science and introductory logic through play.
